Step 1
Read the testing requirement
Separate framework requirements from practices such as regression coverage or release verification.
Describe unit, component, API, and end-to-end testing with examples that show the behavior you protected and how failures were investigated.
An illustrative bullet is: “Added Playwright checks for checkout validation and payment failure states.” This identifies the user journey. Replace the tools and behavior with your work, and do not claim an entire quality strategy when you maintained one test suite.
Unit tests exercise a focused part of the code. Component and integration tests examine cooperating behavior. End-to-end tests cover a broader user flow. Describe the tests you wrote and the dependencies involved rather than using all four terms interchangeably.
A resume can show how you made tests more dependable: isolating state, replacing fragile selectors, controlling test data, or investigating intermittent failures. “Removed a shared-session dependency from checkout tests” is concrete. A coverage percentage needs a defined scope and does not prove that critical behavior is covered.
Include keyboard, focus, and accessible-name checks when you performed them. Automated accessibility checks cover only part of the evaluation. Link a project explanation that distinguishes manual checks from automated scans.

Step 2
Select tests or defect investigations that you personally contributed to and can explain.
Step 3
Keep the test level, tool, and result consistent with the project record.
Keep tool names tied to actual work. A long inventory can conceal the one practice the role needs.
Include manual evaluation and define scope. W3C explains that tooling cannot check every accessibility requirement.
